Emerald Isle, N.C. (April 22, 2019) — Transportation Impact announced its recent recognition by Better Business Bureau serving Eastern North Carolina. For the second consecutive year, Transportation Impact was selected as the winner for BBB’s Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics in the Large business category.
The award is an embodiment of the BBS’s mission to promote integrity, consumer confidence and business ethics through business self-regulation in the local marketplace. It honors companies and charities that meet the highest standards of ethics and demonstrate a high level of character. These companies generate a high degree of trust among their employees, customers, and communities. The award is presented by the Educational Foundation of the BBB.
“Being honored again with this award is both humbling and confirmation that we are on the right path in holding true to our founding principles,” said Transportation Impact Co-Founder Travis Burt. “Integrity is one of our five core values and we are committed to the state of North Carolina. We seek every day to honor the trust placed in us by our employees, partners, customers, and community because we know that by working together we will all succeed.”
Transportation Impact was honored as a BBB Torch Award finalist on Thursday, April 18, 2019, at the BBB Torch Awards Ceremony at Prestonwood Country Club.
