FedEx announced an increase to certain peak charge amounts as its response to the global pandemic continues. The charges being increased at this time have been in place and un-changed since April 6th, 2020. The changes include increases for U.S. parcels destined for Europe and certain freight shipments, among others. All shippers using FedEx international parcel or freight services are encouraged to review the announcement.

NOTE: FedEx (and UPS) tend to bury these types of announcements on their website which makes it difficult to understand the start and end date for many fees and surcharges. This update is under the header: Update Jan. 15, 2021.
